Developing Students' Religious Moderation through Group Counseling at Islamic Higher Education

Tolerance in social life is a need for Indonesian citizens. However, cases of intolerance and violence the name religion frequently occur socia might influence students at university This research aims to assess level religious moderation comprehension among UIN (Universitas Islam Negeri/State Islamic University) Suska Riau through group counseling sessions. The study utilized quantitative approach, employing descriptive pre-experimental Intack Group Comparison design. findings revealed that students' understanding moderate attitude significantly increased after participating on moderation, with positive score 97.5% negative 2.4%. inclusion as theme positively impacted towards within society. Notably, two indicators, national commitment tolerance, exhibited most significant improvements, respective increases 35% 29%. These results suggest centered around can serve model enhancing
